This smoothie kinda puts you in mind of a Chai smoothie...I love ginger for that little kick and pick me up! The ginger, apples and cinnamon really give it that fall, festive and warming feel, but you still have the freshness of the spinach. Ginger is a good replacement for caffeine if you are a coffee or tea drinker in the morning. I will admit...I still sometimes do both (drink my smoothie and then my coffee...lol!) This is a simple smoothie I made 1 day....just using whatever I had in my kitchen. I loved this with mandarin oranges. If I would have had some mint...I would have thrown that in there too! I love mint in pretty much any smoothie! It is not very sweet, so if you want it sweet....then add your choice of sweeter.
